Has anybody else heard about Mark Millar's (director of Wanted) proposed trilogy of Superman films which are meant to be darker like the new Batman franchise? I'm not a fan of the other films because i think the plot was too light and not well suited to the character. I like Superman and think they could make a really good new franchise.

I suppose not but the villains could be darker and Smallville have made the storylines dark (not as dark as batman but still) and a change from Lex Luthor would be good he should appear in one maybe two but not necessarily as the main villain bring in Doomsday or another of Superman's enemies.
